Corporate Resource Centre

The Corporate Resource Centre operates under the overall guidance of a Dean who leads a team of Managers; Executives and students. CRC personnel visit 100s of companies across the country every year and have developed strong relationships with them. This interaction with the industry equips the career management team to provide suitable career planning to the students. It also helps to increase recruitments and maintain strong industry contacts. There has also been a steady increase in the packages and the number of companies recruiting from GGGI every year.

Internships

The Summer Internship Program (SIP) and the Management Research Project combine academic inputs with practical training and offer industry-related, hands-on experience in various career opportunities.

They also help students gain future employment contacts by networking with potential employers.

Training

Industry interaction programs are organized by CRC with a cross-section of professional from various sectors and functional areas like financial services, marketing, human resource management, operations, information technology, etc. A range of professional development seminars are also organized with the industry, to facilitate regular job placements. Below is the list of Industrial Training organised by departments.

Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a Summer Training Program of 4 weeks, on PLC & SCADA, for students of 2nd & 3rd year EE & ECE, from 25 June, 2014. Training was inaugurated by Dr. Rajkumar, Director, Er. Parveen Gupta, Director Admin and Er. Kunal Garg (CEO) .

Er. Ankita Mittal, HOD, ECE welcomed Er. Pawan & Er. Shashi Bhushan from Dynamic Engineers Pvt. Ltd. , Noida, which is a well established panel manufacturing company having training institutes for under graduate trainees. Around 50 students are participating in training and are exposed to Micro logics & RS Linx Classic, software tools for PLC & SCADA. Er. Saranjeet Singh is coordinating this training. Dr. Rajkumar enlightened the students that it will be a great learning experience and provide them a practical exposure of their core subjects.

Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized A workshop on PCB Designing & Circuit simulation for 2nd & 3rd year students, on April 2, 2014. Er. Parveen Gupta, Director Admin and Er. Kunal Garg (CEO) inaugurated the workshop. Prof. Umesh Vinayak, DSW, welcomed Er. Vishal Bhandhari & Er. Neelam Jangra from Creative Mind Solutions & Research Labs (CMSR LABS), Ambala, CMSR is a service provider company in Embedded System Domain & engaged in various R&D Services. Around 150 students participated in workshop.

GGGI has adopted a very systematic approach towards building the careers of its students through a Career Management Center that plans and implements the Training and Placement activities throughout the year.
