The GGGI has a well-established library that caters to the need of undergraduate and postgraduate students and the faculty. The Library provides a neat, well-stocked and peaceful corner for all those knowledge-craving minds that venture to drown in the world of knowledge and information. The separate reading rooms and desks with neatly arranged racks flashing the latest journals and magazines on display provide the perfect ambience to the ones who are eager to know more.
The Central Library of Galaxy Global is located in the heart of the institution and is therefore easily accessible to the departments, classrooms and hostels.
Galaxy Global has an excellent well equipped centrally air-conditioned library having ever increasing collection and a wide range of books on various topics. The library is the hub of academic life on campus with a covered area of 35,000 sq ft. It has got a collection of over 45,039 books. Our library has a self-access facility for students and faculty through automated computer software. It also subscribes to 960 National/International online Journals, 138 Print Journals and 25 magazines regularly. Besides, the Institute is also a member of a number of national and international online libraries. The air-conditioned reading room provides for self-study sessions with a good collection of audio-visual aids. Library also provides an optional book bank facility for the students.
Internet Library:
The Internet library is its main attraction of it. A fully computerized automated library management system is available for the issue, search, and return of books. The digital library has more than 2000 CDs/DVDs.
E-Library:
It is a place where students can access paid e-books and journals that are available to them free of cost. All the reading material at the international level is made accessible to the students for a better understanding of global issues. Besides this, the institute is an institutional National Digital Library of India & DELNET(Developing Library Network) member.
